10 May How to Make a Corporate Film?
What is a corporate film?
Corporate films, or corporate videos, are used to connect the boardroom to its employees and convey the company’s ethics and ethos to the consumer. Making a Corporate Film consists of three stages after which we can get the final product which is ready to be used and promoted.
First step of all is to schedule a meeting with the client and discuss the mindset and the requirement of the client.
It’s very important to understand the purpose of the client to make a corporate film and work on the film accordingly.
After that we do the recce of the area of the production in which we analyze the work spaces, equipment, time required, etc. Then we start to prepare the script after understanding the concept. Final step of pre-production is to get the approval of the client about the script.
In production, we have to start with the shooting in accordance with the plan that the client has approved and get the best shots with the appropriate equipment.
We collect the film that has been shot and start editing and creating draft 1 for the client. Draft 1 consists of BGM, rough voiceover, high end graphics, good typography and content.
Then we schedule a meeting with the client for the review of draft 1. After the meeting of draft 1 we take the input of the client and start preparing draft 2 which will have the final video, professional voiceover and changes that are being mentioned by the client.
Then we schedule the final meeting and ask for review from the customer and if there are any changes we do that and deliver the final film which is ready to used for all purposes.
